Tribute to Michelle Nadal
From Thursday, June 26th to Sunday, June 28th, 2026
In 1996, Arts et Mouvement, under the impetus of Michelle Nadal, brought together Richard, Yvonne, Dvorana, and Patrick in Paris for unforgettable moments of dance and celebration.
In June 2026, Arts et Mouvement and its partners will be delighted to welcome you, invite you to dance with Richard Powers (Standford Vintage Dance), Yvonne Vart (Le Quadrille Français), and Patrick Nollio (Divertissement), and share memories and friendship.
For the two grand balls (June 26 and 27), participants are encouraged to wear historical costumes (1910 and 1860). For the 19th-century ball, costumes from 1800 to 1900 are permitted, allowing dancers to wear outfits other than crinolines.
The two balls with cocktail receptions will be held at the Cité Universitaire, in two different venues: the grand Art Deco salon of the Fondation des États-Unis for the Ragtime Ball; and a beautiful wood-paneled room for the 19th-century Ball at the Biermans-Lapôtre Foundation (Belgian-Luxembourgish).
For both days, workshops will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the evenings will begin at 6:00 p.m. for the cocktail reception and continue from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the balls. The workshops and balls will be held at different locations; these will be announced soon.
